We recommend to apply one drop to a clean fingertip and gently rub on the affected wound, burn, blemish, skin ulcer etc. Use more drops for a larger surface area. Allow some time for the oil to be absorbed into the skin (or cover with a bandage) to avoid any color transfer to your clothing. 


Ovum Oil should be reapplied to an affected area multiple times per day until fully healed. Focus on your healing and you should intuitively feel when more is needed: typically reapply 3 to 5 times per day.

Organic egg yolk essential oil 

For most small surface areas, one drop should suffice. Correspondingly, greater surface areas will require more drops.


Our 4mL bottle contains approximately 200 drops, which lasts on average 1-3 months depending on daily use.

Ovum Oil’s shelf life can be several years, especially when stored in a dark and cool location. Avoid direct contact with water as it might change the oil's consistency.
